Established in 2015, Chakra Vidyalaya is the first school in Sankarapuram Taluk affiliated to the CBSE. The school also offers the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) Curricula, to support those who need guidance and the right environment. Set in a serene and green campus that is spread over 5 acres, the school is located away from the Central Business District in Sankarapuram. 

Balance is at the heart of everything we do at Chakra Vidyalaya. The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) process adopted in the CBSE system emphasizes continuity in evaluation and assessment of broad based learning. Balanced learning Curriculum: At Chakra Vidyalaya CBSE curriculum is supplemented with additional material based on current research to give teachers professional tools in the areas of Science, Maths, Social Studies, Language and physical development Objective of CCE is to reduce stress on students and Chakra’s unique Balanced learning methods ensures that students enjoy what they do in school on a daily basis. Each aspect of our Balanced Learning curriculum is carefully delivered in our daily schedule to ensure balance of learning and play through a blend of child-initiated, and teacher-Directed activities.

Digital School – All round development:

Communicating in English was the biggest challenge for students from Rural Tamilnadu, even the brightest of students lacked confidence as communicating in English was a big roadblock for them. To address this issue we partnered with LEAD – an Educational Technology company that brings a digital platform for all round education. LEAD Schools – English Language and General Awareness (ELGA) classes which gives emphasis for Phonetics bases English language training helps students to understand how to pronounce a word, how to form a sentence and communicate freely in English. This has helped Chakra Vidyalaya students to improve their English language skills. Multimedia-based coaching in Science and Maths with emphasis on practical application-oriented coaching helps students understand basic concepts better and apply what they learn in their day to day life.

With the digital platform we can monitor the performance of the students daily, and help the students improve. The management can monitor the performance of each student, each class and each teacher how they are performing, has the teacher completed the portion for the day, have the students submitted the homework or what score the student got in today’s quiz. This updated digital data driven environment helps the management and principal to review the progress of the students and teachers and drive improvement on a day to day basis.
